DIWirelessEP45_HugoMudie_postInterview: Hugo Mudie (Pouzza Fest/The Sainte Catherines)

Here is episode 45 of D.I.Wireless with a really interesting chat with Hugo Mudie – frontman of The Sainte Catherines and Yesterday’s Ring and now in charge of Lecurie and the huge Pouzza Fest.

This episode gives a quick but fascinating look into what goes on behind the scenes in running Canada’s version of The Fest, as well as the history and growth of punk rock in Montreal and being part of the end of a ‘golden age’ at Fat Wreck Chords with The Sainte Catherines.

In addition to this great feature interview their is some fucking gnarly music from some French-Canadian punk bands in this episode – hand picked and introduced by Hugo. You have probably never heard of them before – so strongly suggest you have a listen.

Merci beaucoup Hugo. To get the episode on your ‘Pod click on the iTunes button to the right – or just play/download below.
